On March 2nd, the Bonsecours market will host the launch of the 16th edition of Montreal Fashion Week (MFW). Held for the eighth time in collaboration with P&G Beauty, this is a glamorous fashion event of international scope presenting premiere showings of new collections.
More than 100 companies from Canada
and France will be taking part
in the various activities, revealing
2009 spring-summer trends to the
approximately 15,000 buyers and
journalists are expected to attend.
Several national launches will
be presented in Montreal for the
first time.
The organizers of Montreal
Fashion Week are proud to welcome
renowned designers such as Aqua
Di Lara, Myco Anna, Andy The-Anh
and many others known for their
creative talent.
Eye Candy Media will be the official
and exclusive
outdoor media sponsor of the event.
A Giant Screen will
be placed at the heart of the action,
outside Bounsecours Market on St.
Paul Street in the Old Port.
The
general public will be able to
watch the catwalks on the screen,
interviews with the designers,
highlights from the fashion industry
while a limited number of advertising
packages will be provided to Eye
Candy’s clients.
In addition, Eye
Candy the volumes, the
multi-award winning fashion photography
book, sold
across Canada, will be available
within the venue.
