Eye Candy will be positioning their giant 20m² outdoor broadcast screen in Norrmalms torg, which is a prominent location right in the middle of the busiest part of the City.
Stores like Rolex, Massimo Dutti, Audi, Acne Jeans and Marlboro Classics are situated here.
Eye Candy have worked closely with the organisers of the festival to secure this location and the screen will be visible from three of the streets leading up to the square and will be directly facing Biblioteksgatan - the most fashionable shopping street in Stockholm which leads up to Stureplan.
The area is also known as the entertainment centre of Stockholm: nearby Kungsgatan which hosts 3 cinemas (one of which is an official festival cinema) and many nightclubs are situated around Norrmalms torg and Stureplan.
Communications are excellent with a major bus hub in the square and several metro lines’ stations nearby.
The Stockholm International Film Festival is one of northern Europe’s foremost film festivals and is in constant motion. The aim of the festival from the very outset in 1990 has remained the same: to show innovative films by non-established directors whilst at the same time drawing attention to certain already known filmmakers.
In addition to the actual festival a whole range of entertainment is organised throughout the year making the festival unique. The organisers want to give film lovers something to look forward to and because of this they just keep on growing.
