The
most important film festival
in Northern Europe,
The
Stockholm International Film
Festival
Eye Candy is
once again positioning their
giant outdoor broadcast screen
in Norrmalms Torg. This
is the most prominent location
right in the middle of the busiest
part of the city and next to
stores like Rolex, Massimo Dutti,
Audi, Acne Jeans and Marlboro
Classics.
Eye Candy has
worked closely with the organisers
of the festival to secure this
unique location. The screen will
be visible from the three streets
that lead up to the square and
it will be directly facing Biblioteksgatan -
the most fashionable shopping street
in Stockholm which leads up to
Stureplan.
The area is also known as the
entertainment centre of Stockholm.
Kungsgatan street hosts three cinemas
(one of which is an official festival
cinema) while many nightclubs are
situated around Norrmalms Torg
and Stureplan. Communications are
excellent due to a major bus hub
in the square and several metro
line stations nearby.
The Stockholm
International Film Festival is
one of northern Europe’s
foremost film festivals and is
in constant motion. The aim of
the festival from the very outset
in 1990 has remained the same,
i.e. showing innovative films
by non-established directors,
whilst at the same time drawing
attention to certain already
known filmmakers.
In addition
to the actual festival, a whole
range of entertainment is organised
throughout the year making the
festival even more exceptional.
The organisers give to the film
lovers something to look forward
to and thus the film festival’s
popularity keeps on growing constantly
on an international level.
Eye Candy continues
to set new standards in event marketing.
