EYE CANDY AT THE SYRACUSE JAZZ FESTIVAL
Not content with dominating the international film festival circuit, Eye Candy will be presenting its captive giant screen broadcast media concept to the world of Jazz.
The critically acclaimed and award winning Syracuse Jazz Festival in New York State is one of the top jazz festivals in America and this year, to celebrate its 20th anniversary, it will be dedicating the event to the Late and forever great, Etta Jones.
Present at the festival, will be an array of international jazz superstars including 'Al Jarreau', 'Curtis Stiger', 'Brasil Brazil', 'Roberta Flack', 'Diane Schuur' and 'America's Youngest Jazz Band'directed by 'Sonny Larosa'. The festival will be held between the 21st and 23rd of June.
The festival was originally located in downtown Syracuse, but recently it has become so popular that it has outgrown this location and has moved to a new location at the Onondaga Community College, Syracuse.
The festival now attracts around 40,000 people per day and entertains a total of 120,000 hard core jazz fans.
Cited on numerous occasions - including twice by the international Association of Jazz Educators (IAJE) for its outstanding and longstanding contributions to jazz education and artistic development - the festival most recently received a prestigious national award in 2001 from New Orleans Mayor Marc Morial for its outstanding support of Jazz and New Orleans Jazz in particular for close to two decades.
To mark its 20th birthday and to enhance the experience of its loyal spectators, the festival organisers for the first time ever have asked Eye Candy Media to provide a gigantic LED superscreen which will show spectacular live video broadcasts of these legendary jazz performers during this exciting event.
The screen will naturally be the focus of the event as it will provide a majority of the spectators with their main visual experience of the festival.
THIS WILL GENERATE A TOTALLY CAPTIVE AUDIENCE DURING THE FESTIVAL . . .
PERFECT FOR EYE CANDY MEDIA'S AMERICAN CLIENTELE.
